Nagarjuna’s ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya’ In Tamil

Nagarjuna and Anushka Shetty’s devotional film ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya’ released in February this year. The flick didn’t fare well at the box-office but was able to leave an impact on the audiences mind. If latest reports are to be believed, the flick will be now dubbed in Tamil with the title ‘Brammaanda Nayagan’.

Reports further added that the flick is now all set to hit the theatres and will be released soon. Helmed by K Raghavendra Rao, the flick is based on the life of Hathiram Bahvaji, who is a strong devotee of Lord Venkateswara. ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya’ was earlier embroiled in a controversy when Telangana State Tribal Employees’ Federation and Andhra Pradesh Banjara Jagarana Jagruthi Samithi wanted to rename the film as Hatiram Bavaji.

Apart from Akkineni Nagarjuna and Anushka, the flick also stars Pragya Jaiswal in the lead role. The Tamil version of the flick will be released by Joshika Films. The makers are all confident about the flick.
