Napolean Plays Gautham Karthik's Dad In Muthuramalingam

Gautham Karthik's dad who was earlier playing the character of his father in Muthuramalingam is now replaced by Napolean. Navarasa Nayagan Karthik had some medical issues, which compelled him to stay away from the sets. It was later flick’s director who confirmed about the news.

"Initially, Karthik sir was supposed to do this role and he was willing because the film's title had his father Muthuraman's name in it. Even Gautham was keen because he felt this title connects all the three actors in his family. However, Karthik sir had to undergo a surgery on his leg by the time we went to shoot. He is still recuperating from it", said director Rajadurai.

Napolean flew all the way from U.S. to do the character, for which he was sceptical at first. He had been away from acting for many years and only came for 22-day visit to wrap up the shoot. Napolean was later impressed with the story line and loved to be part of the flick.
