Nargis excited about her ‘first appearance in a south film’

After appearing in a few Bollywood films, actress Nargis Fakhri is all set to sizzle the Kollywood industry. The leggy lass would soon be seen shaking a leg in Prashanth-starrer Sahasam. Sahasam is an action comedy directed by Arun Raj Varma, and produced by Thiagarajan. The film will feature actress Tamannaah opposite Prashanth and Bolly-starlet Nargis Fakhri is supposed to do an item number for the action-flick.

Nargis Fakhri is currently in Chennai to shoot the special number. Talking about her role, Nargis said, "When Thiagarajan approached me for the song, I didn't refuse since it was a big film. This is also my first appearance in a south film. I don't have qualms about making my debut with an item number. But what I am really kicked about are the dance moves. The dance here is different and I loved dancing, Kollywood style." She further added, "I've not really explored the south film industry. Now that I've got a chance to work, I am looking forward to knowing more."

However, she also said that she wishes to do bigger roles and may cut down peppy numbers in the near future. "I love dancing and when I was approached for my first item number with Shahid, I didn't mind. The same goes for Salman's film since I didn't want to miss the opportunity to work with him. I will cut down on it and maybe, this will be my last item number as I am keen on doing more films," the actress retorts.
