Natraj Will Be Replaced By Arvind Swamy In 'Sathuranga Vettai 2'

'Sathuranga Vettai' received appreciation from both the audience as well as from critics. The movie was a huge success and made Natraj a star. It was a path breaking film in his career. The movie was so successful that makers have planned to make the sequel which is under production.

But there is some change in the cast of the sequel. Not Natraj but Arvind Swamy will be seen playing the lead in 'Sathuranga Vettai 2'. The sequel is being produced by Manobala who also produced the first part. The story has been written by the director of the previous version.

Talking about why Natraj was replaced by Arvind Swamy in the sequel, Manobala said, "Natraj and I still have a good rapport and if I call him, he will immediately come to act in my film. Vinoth who has written the story for the film felt that there is a interesting twist in the interval and if Natraj is cast in the lead role, the intended secret will be revealed in the beginning of the film itself and that would spoil the interval block. Hence we had to go for a replacement and we have cast Arvind Swamy in the role."

The movie will also feature actress Trisha who was also seen in the first part of the movie. The flick is slated to release in June 2017.
