Nayanthara Replacing Samantha in Bruce Lee

Known for her role in movies like Anaamika, Massu Engira Masilamani and Raja Rani, Tamil actress Nayanthara will be joining the cast of Bruce Lee, instead of Samantha. Contrary to previous reports that suggested Samantha will be present in the movie, Nayanthara has supposedly signed on for the film. Nayanthara will be sharing screen space with GV Prakash.

The first look poster for Bruce Lee was recently released. Along with this, GV Prakash has two other movies lined up. Trisha Illana Nayanthara will be released on September 17 where he will be cast alongside Anandhi, Manisha Yadav, Simran and VTV Ganesh. The movie is directed by Adhik Ravichandran.

Nayanthara first started her career in Malayalam cinema in 2003. She won the Best New Face of the Year award for the film Manassinakkare. Samantha on the other hand, who is known for her films Anjaan, Eega and Kaththi joined the industry much later in 2010.
