Neelima Rani To Turn Producer With Niram Maaratha Pookkal

Actress Neelima Rani started off her Tamil career as a child artist with the serial Oru Pennin Kathai. Thereafter, she appeared in several movies and TV serials as a child. At the age of 15, she did a serial Acham Madam Airyppu Brindavanam in which she played the second heroine.

She was praised for playing Karthi's friend in Naan Mahaan Alla which also won her Edison Award for Best Supporting Actress. And now we have heard that after working in films and TV serial, the actress is all set to produce a mega serial. Titled Niram Maaratha Pookkal, this will be her first step in her production career.

In an interview with the Deccan Chronicle, the actress said, “I have acted in more than 80 soaps and getting into production was my dream for the last 20 years which has come true today. My husband Isaivaanan and I have started a banner called Isai Pictures and we have this new mega soap Niram Maaratha Pookkal coming up. The daily soap has Murali, Nishma and Ashmitha in the lead roles and it is a triangular love story; it has been shot in Muttam, Nagarkovil and Kanyakumari among others places. We are very particular about making quality products and will not compromise on the production value.” The 33-year-old actress said that she will soon announce her film project.
