Neetu Chandra wants women to stand up for themselves

In the wake of gruesome Delhi rape case, multilingual actress Neetu Chandra has said that womenfolk should stand up for their rights and their morality and learn self-defence to fight the criminals. "We are not helpless, and I don't think we need any kind of protection. We have the power in our hand, and if we decide to stand up for our rights and security, no one can stop us," Neetu said, adding, “One of the first steps that women need to take is to learn self-defence”. The actress, who herself is an expert in Taekwondo, stated, "Such horrendous crimes against women have come to light, and are much debated now, because they've taken place in big cities and in the capital. There are more unreported crimes that take place in small towns and villages. I strongly feel that schools and colleges must make martial arts an integral part of their curriculum."
