Nithin Sathya Will Reprise His Role In Chennai 28 Sequel

Chennai 28, which was directed by Venkat Prabhu, was released back in 2007. The actors who were involved in the project will be returning for a sequel which comes 10 years after the original. Nithin Sathya played the role of Pazhani in the original and is quite excited to return for the sequel.

The actor revealed, “All the actors are back for this film. In fact, even the actors who played Jai's parents were called back to reprise their roles”. He stated that the sequel will tell the story of the same characters and their situations 10 years later.

Talking about his character, Nithin shared, “As for my character, I play the same Pazhani, but whether I'm married and settled is the suspense. It also shows how the boys have changed in the last few years and whether they are still playful and emotional”. Like the original, the sequel will also focus on betrayal, friendship and love.
