Nithya Menen To Be The Heroine Of Vijay 61

Earlier, reports had revealed that Jyotika, who was roped in as a lead actress for Atlee's Vijay 61, had pulled out of the film. However, since then the makers were in search of a leading actress for the film. The recent development in the casting of the film is that Nithya Menen has been finalised for the role.

As per sources, "Yes, she is part of the film and will begin shooting for her portions from this week." However, when we spoke to the production house, they said, "Talks are still going on with her." However, Nithya Menen’s news of being roped in for Vijay 61 has put an end to all the speculations as to who would replace Jyothika.

Vijay 61 also stars Samantha and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead.  AR Rahman will be crooning the music for the film. The film is likely to kick start in the month of February 2017. Desimartini extends their good wishes and luck to the team for the film.
