Nivin Pauly’s Next Will Be An Investigative Thriller

Nivin Pauly made a superb entry into Kollywood with 2013 hit film 'Neram'. He took a lot of time to finalize his next Tamil venture and then teamed up with debutant director Gautham. Both are busy preparing for the film which is expected to go on floors in June.

While talking with a leading daily, the director opened up about the role of the actor. He said, “Nivin plays a local guy from the coastal town, and is someone who acts as if he owns the world. The film is an investigative thriller set against the backdrop of the sea”.

He further shared that the team plans to shoot the flick extensively in Thoothukudi, Manpad and Kutralam. After wrapping up these schedules, the cast along with the crew will head to Kolkata, where some major portions will be shot. Gautham also talked about the look of Nivin in the film and said that his look will be of a rustic chap. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar will play the female lead in the yet-to-be titled venture.
