Pa. Ranjith Opens Up About Rajinikanth’s Character In ‘Kabali’

Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming movie ‘Kabali’ has managed to garner a lot of attention in the past month. The first look poster of the Pa. Ranjith directorial was released last month and it took the social media by storm.  People are curious to know about the movie and about every minor development that takes place in the project.

In an interview to a leading English daily, the director of the flick opened up about Rajinikanth’s character. He said that the actor agreed to star in the film because his character is realistic and matches his real age and get up. His rowdy character will portray the qualities of a do-gooder.Moreover the film has no punch dialogues, as the script does not demand it .

He added that the Lingaa actor will be seen without makeup in major portions of the flick. The team recently finished canning the Chennai schedule and will move to Malaysia, where major portions of the flick will be shot. The film is expected to hit the theatres in April, 2016.
