Parents Are Happy And Hopeful For Son Shanmugapandian’s Next

Madura Veeran is a Tamil film based on jallikattu and stars Shanmugapandian as the lead. At the audio launch event of the film, the parents of the actor poured out their heart and told how they are feeling about the movie. The film is being directed by cinematographer P G Muthaiah.

The mother of the actor said, "I feel proud that my son Shanmugapandian is acting in a movie titled Madura Veeran, which is the powerful title of legendary MGR’s blockbuster film. And this film is based on jallikattu, which is a valorous sport of the Tamil people."

His father, Captain Vijayakanth, further mentioned, "Since it’s my son’s movie, I don’t want to talk much about him. I was very impressed with the script that deals with Jallikattu.  Hence, I was keen on Shanmugapandian doing the film." Meenatchi is the heroine, Samudhrakani will play an important role in the movie. The music is given by famous Santosh Dayanidhi.
