Pasupathy Will Be Seen In Special Number In ‘Nagarvalam’

From playing supporting role, antagonistic, comedian to essaying the part of a protagonist in many noted flicks, actor Pasupathy has done a number of critically acclaimed roles in his career so far. The latest we hear about the actor is that he has been brought on board for a special number of an upcoming romantic thriller ‘Nagarvalam’. The movie is being bankrolled by M. Natarajan and N. Ramesh under the banner Red Carpet Production.

The flick is helmed and penned by debutant director Markx, and features Yuthan Balaji of Kaadhal Solla Vandhen fame and newcomer Deekshitha Manikam in the lead roles. Talking about Pasupathy’s special number, the director stated, “There is a situation, where we have a song that talks about people living in housing board apartments. Deva has rendered this thathuva paadal. We wanted someone, who could bring out those emotions. I thought Pasupathy would be apt for the song. When we approached him, he was sceptical. But then, he eventually agreed to be a part of the number”.

Touching upon the flick, Markx added, “The film revolves around Balaji, who plays a metro water lorry driver, and his love story. While the love portions will be shown in a realistic manner in the first half, the second half has New Year has the backdrop. We shot some portions during last year's New Year celebrations in the city. Since the second half was primarily shot in the night, we found it difficult to shoot. We had some technical difficulties. Nevertheless, the film has come out well”.

The flick also stars Yogi Babu, Bala Saravanan and Maari Muthu in significant roles. Pavan Karthik has rendered the musical scores for the flick.
