Poonam Kaur To Play A Female Lead In ‘Nandu En Nanban’

Actress Poonam Kaur was seen as a female lead in 2015 film ‘Achaaram’. Later, she appeared in Trisha-starrer ‘Nayagi’, but it was only a guest role. And now after two years the actress will return to silver screen as the female lead.

Poonam has been roped in for a Tamil film titled ‘Nandu En Nanban’. The movie will see actor Jithan Ramesh playing the male lead. “In the movie, I share screen space with a crab, which plays an important role. I essay the role of a marine lecturer and will start shooting for the flick from the first week of September,” she said.

She also stated that the director of the flick, Andal Ramesh, will take the help of leading CG artists to make the crab look real. Apart from ‘Nandu En Nanban’, Poonam also has Kunal Kohli’s upcoming film in her kitty. The film is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual and will star Tamannaah and Sundeep Kishan in the lead roles. Talking about her role in the flick, Poonam said, I play the second lead in this untitled film and have wrapped up my portions as well. I’m looking forward to the release of the film.”
