Prabhu Deva Pens Lyrics of Peppy Number

Prabhu Deva is a person who loves to try his hands in every field. After acting, choreography and direction, this multi-talented artist has now turned lyricist. The Devi star has penned a lively introduction song for his upcoming film ‘Yung Mung Sung’.

The composer of the film, Amresh Ganesh, has confirmed this news. "Prabhdheva sir has written the introduction song, titled Ayyanaaru Vandhutaanga Inga Paaru, which talks about three people coming back to India from China. I composed the tune and played it to him. He said he will pen down something as a first copy,” Amresh said. “He was walking up and down in his guest house. I was thinking he will break into a step for the song, but he wrote the song in 15 minutes flat. It came out very well, so we decided to finalise his lines for the song, and got Shankar Mahadevan to sing the number," he added.

Nowadays, the film crew is shooting Deva’s penned song in Kumbakonam with over 150 dancers. Sridhar has choreographed the song. Directed by MS Arjun, ‘Yung Mung Sung’ will feature Lakshmi Menon as the female lead.
