    Prabhu Deva’s Mercury’s Trailer Release Date Shifted

    Prabhu Deva’s Mercury is one of the most awaited flicks of Kollywood. Among many of his films that are lined up, Mercury is the first one to hit the theatres at the end of April. The trailer of the film was scheduled to release on April 6. However, it got postponed due to the ongoing strike and will now release in a day or two.



    Karthik took to his twitter account to announce this. He tweeted, “With utmost respect to the protests and bandh, we are postponing the Trailer release of # Mercury that was supposed to happen today. However, this film is a Silent film and having a huge release globally on 13th April. And cinema being a bread-winning profession for hundreds of our team members who have put in their sweat and blood into this film, we are in a situation to move on towards the release of the film. Hence the trailer will be released in a day or two. Looking for all your support as always”.



    The young filmmaker also announced that the Mercury team will not release the Tamil version of the film in Tamil Nadu until the strike is over. He tweeted, “To clarify certain confusions # Mercury team including me, the director, all the cast, crew and producers have been honestly supporting the TNFPC strike going on and we have already decided to not release the Tamil version of our film in Tamil Nadu until the strike is over. We too like thousands of film industry workers are hoping for a fruitful solution to all our problems”. The flick is slated for a release on April 13.
