Prabhu Solomon’s Kumki wins big at the Norway Tamil Film Festival

The prestigious Norway Tamil Film Festival has honoured the excellence of the Tamil film industry once again as well as celebrating Tamil cinema globally. The awards for 2013 were announced at the occasion where the Norwegian and Tamil film industry meet each other every year.

TheKumkiteam has been the topmost winner this year with three trophies for the Best Director (Prabhu Solomon), Best Actress (Lakshmi Menon) and Best Music Director (D. Imman).Among other top winners are Vikram who was awarded with the Kalai Sigaram Award (Jury Special Award) and Suriya, winning the Kalai Sigaram (People choice) Award.

Other notable awards were given away toVazhakku Enn 18/9(Thiruppathy Brothers) and Best Actor Vijay Sethupathy (Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Konam).
