Prabhudeva's Next With Harikumar Is Titled 'Theal'

Prabhudeva is one of the most sought-after actor-director down south and has already got four films in hand. But this workaholic Prabhudeva is all set to sigh yet another film. The film is titled as Theal which will be directed by Harikumar who gave films like Madurai Sambavam and Thoothukudi his distinctive touch as an actor.

Harikumar confirmed the news and said, “The moment we cast Prabhudeva, it was a given that the film will revolve around dance. But this project will be a different genre for him. He is a good performer and this project will only take his skills a notch higher. The film is set in Chennai — specifically in the Koyembedu market. It is a commercial script loaded with emotions. The way the story travels will be different. So in that sense, there will be something new for the audiences, too”.

C Sathya will be composing the music for the film which will revolve around five characters. The director continued, “Prabhu and I have known each other for 22 years. I worked as his assistant and we still have the same rapport. So, when I contacted him for the film, it was easy for me. He is busy with five projects (one of them being a Bollywood movie he’s directing). But still, he heard the script and agreed to come on board. We will begin shooting for the film from October,” he adds. And what about his debut as a director, how did that come about”?
