Priya Anand to play a village girl in her next

Hot-bod Priya Anand will be seen enacting the role of a village belle in her next. The actress has been roped in by filmmaker Kannan for his yet to be titled flick. The film is still at its pre-production stage and nothing much has been revealed about her character or about the film, but it has been has said that Priya’s character in the movie will be called ‘Annapoorni’.

The director quoted, “Priya has a very strong role in the film, and her character, Annapoorni, is very different from the roles she has done before in Kollywood. She will play an educated young woman from Madurai, someone who clearly knows what she wants from life.” The project is expected to go on the floors by February 2014.
