Problems for Tamil Remake of Bangalore Days

Problems for Tamil Remake of Bangalore Days

The trend of movie remakes seems to be never-ending. After various other remakes of M-town movies in Kollywood, we have another one coming up. Yes, it is the Tamil remake of the Malayalam movie Bangalore Days but the makers of the remake are having quite a tough time with the title of the film due to its political undertones.

A source close to the team said, “Initially, the makers of the film wanted to call it ADMK — which stands for Arjun, Divya maattrum Karthik (named after the central characters of the film). However, there have been some problems about the title, because the name sounds similar to that of a political party. It has been sent for approval and they are awaiting clearance. Everything will be finalised by the end of this month”.

The remake film features Bobby Simhaa, Rana Daggubati, Sridivya, Arya, Raai Laxmi and Parvathy. The source mentioned that the director, Bhaskar himself is not very happy with the title and will probably change it to Tamil. Let’s see what comes out as the final title of the flick.
