R. Ajay Gnanamuthu’s Next Starring Atharvaa Will Go On Floor In July

Director R. Ajay Gnanamuthu, who debuted as a filmmaker with the horror-thriller Demonte Colony (2015), is now set to make a romantic-thriller, which will feature Atharvaa in the lead role. Not many may know that the upcoming flick was supposed to be Ajay’s first movie as a director. However, the filmmaker kept the project on hold as the Kanithan actor cited date issues.

“This film was actually supposed to be Ajay's debut film as Ajay had first approached Atharvaa with this romantic script - much before Demonte Colony. But at that time, Atharvaa could not give Ajay the dates he required because of his prior commitments. Now, they are set to work together in this film for which they will start shooting from the mid-week of July”, revealed a source.

The source also confirmed that the filming of the movie will be done in different parts of India. “The schedule for the shoot says the film will be shot in Chennai, Bangalore, and some places in north India. Though everything has been decided, Ajay still has to get Atharvaa to sign on the dotted line. Once that is done, the rest of the cast will be finalised”, added the source.
