Director Radha Mohan is prepping up for the release of his upcoming film Brindavanam which will feature Arulnithi, Vivekh and Tanya Ravichandran in the lead roles. The movie centres around a deaf and a mute barber who is big fan of actor Vivekh. This is the second time that the filmmaker has made a flick on dead and mute. His earlier movie which had a deaf and mute protagonist was Mozhi.

The movie shows how the barber and his idol emotionally bond with each other when he lands an opportunity to meet his idol who has come to the place for his own business. The flick also shows how the actor puts all his efforts to help his fan. Though the film is a soulful drama but will also have humorous elements.

Arulnithi will be playing the protagonist and it is touted that his character in the movie will be similar to that of Ranbir Kapoor in Barfi. However, when asked from the director about the similarity, he denied the news saying that there are no such inspirations or similarities. “No way! There is nothing to that claim. People keep saying this but let the film come out and it will prove that Brindavanam has no relevance to any films whatsoever,” said Mohan.
