    Rahul Ravindran is known to have appeared in many Kollywood films. The Kollywood star is popular for his roles in the movies such as Moscowin Kaveri and Vanakkam Chennai. The actor is set to turn a filmmaker for an untitled movie. Recently, the actor exhibited details about his directorial debut.

    Rahul was quoted as saying, “I was actually planning to make the movie sometime in next year, but everything fell in place now. So, we have started the pre-production, and the film is at its nascent stage as of now”. The movie will also star Sushanth, the nephew of Nagarjuna in the lead role.

    Regarding his directorial debut, Ravindran was quoted as saying, “I came to Chennai not to become an actor, but with a desire to join as an assistant to a director. But eventually, I got an offer to be the lead of a movie, and I got suggestions that acting will earn me more money and knowledge about filmmaking as well. So, I ended up being an actor”. Rahul closed his statement stating, “I will still be acting in films; that’s something I can’t give up. But, I am unsure whether I will be acting in my own directorial ventures”.
