Rajinikanth All For Jallikattu

There is a lot of debate going on in Tamil Nadu with regard to the traditional sport of bull taming, Jallikattu, after Supreme Court banned it. This rage against Jallikattu among Tamils is escalating with every passing day. Lately, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan spoke in favour for Jallikkattu. And now next in the league is none other than superstar Rajinikanth.

Addressing the media at the Vikatan Film Awards, legend expressed that though regulations are created to regulate the sporting event, it's not accurate to go against a culture and tradition. He further added, "Jallikattu should be held to uphold the traditions of our Tamil culture."He feels that bull-taming sport should be considered as it was part of Tamil culture."

 Also, he stated that Jallikattu represents the cultural heritage of Tamil and hence it should be protected. Rajinikanth bagged the Best Actor award for his enthralling performance in Pa Ranjith's Kabali. Desimartini hopes that the issue subsides soon.
