Rajinikanth Donates Rs. 10 Crore For Chennai Flood Relief

After receiving immense criticism for donating meagre Rs. 10 lakhs for the victims of Chennai floods, Rajinikanth has now donated Rs. 10 crores to the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund. Not only that, the Thailavar had also cancelled his birthday celebration on December 12. The superstar is earning all the praises for his recent move.

Several other celebrities have also joined the cause. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has donated Rs. 1 crore through Red Chillies Entertainment. NTR's actor-brother Kalyanram has also announced to contribute Rs. 5 lakhs.

Mahesh Babu and Junior NTR have both donated Rs. 10 lakhs each. Suriya, Karthi and Allu Arjun have contributed Rs. 25 lakhs each. Sampoornesh Babu has also announced to donate Rs. 50,000. Ravi Teja and Varun Tej have donated Rs. 5 lakh and Rs. 3 lakh respectively.
