Rajinikanth gets British actress opposite him

Rajinikanth’s upcoming film, Lingaa, will mark the debut for British actress Lauren J. Irwin opposite the biggie from the Tamil film industry. The young actress, singer and dancer used to act in theatre in London’s West End.

Lauren’s role in Lingaa will be set in the pre-independence era. Lauren is presently filming Lingaa in Mysore and she is quite happy with her stint in India. When asked about her experience of shooting with Rajini she said, "He is a very nice, down to earth man. Very welcoming & a fantastic actor!" She shared further, "After I shot my first scene & he came over to say that it was really good. He was very welcoming & supportive & a really nice man!"
