Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan To Together Launch P. Bharathiraja’s New Film Institute

Recent reports doing the rounds claim that superstar Rajinikanth will soon be seen alongside Kollywood icon Kamal Haasan. However, the two aren’t teaming up for any movie. According to reports, the actors will inaugurate ace filmmaker P. Bharathiraja’s new film institute and preview theater.

It has been earlier reported that Bharathiraja will be starting Bharathi Raja International Institute of Cinema (BRIIC). It goes without saying that the veteran director has been a source of inspiration for a number of young filmmakers. Now, he has decided to impart knowledge on direction, cinematography, acting, editing and compositing, sound design, editing & VFX, production design, art direction, and set designing to students who aspire to master in the film industry. In addition, the institute will also offer courses in stunt direction and choreography.

And now that the institute will be launched Rajini and Haasan, the reputation of the institute will undoubtedly be glorified. As a matter of an interesting fact, the duo had worked together in Bharathiraja’s ‘16 Vayathinile’ (1977). The movie marked the debut of Bharathiraja as a filmmaker.
