Rajinikanth Meets Lyricist Kabilan

Superstar Rajinikanth met leading Tamil lyricist and poet Kabilan on the sets of ‘Kabali’. Kabilan has written the lyrics of two songs for the film. The superstar took out time between shooting and had lunch with the lyricist. They conversed for a while during this.

It was later revealed that the two talked about books as both of them are passionate readers. The superstar spoke on Siddhas and Buddhism after knowing that the son of Kabilan has been named Boudhan. Kabilan also put forward certain questions that he had in his mind.

He asked the superstar about his practice of extracting small stories from the great Indian epic ‘Mahabharatha’. The superstar reportedly replied that ‘Mahabharatha’ is a book that he loves reading again and again. He further added that he even keeps on reading books in modern Tamil literature.
