Rajinikanth To Play Cop In ‘Kabali’?

According to the latest reports, superstar Rajinikanth will be seen playing the role of a cop in his much awaited movie ‘Kabali’.  Rumour mills are churning that the Linga star was seen at a studio in Chennai, donning a Malaysian cop costume for his upcoming film with director Ranjith.  Everyone is excited about his 159^th film and every rumour about his latest turns into news for the fans.

Earlier reports suggested that the Enthiran actor will be playing the role of a stylish gangster and has adapted the salt and pepper look for it. No official announcement has been made about his role though. But many believe that the Sivaji actor will be playing a gangster who is trying to impersonate a cop.

Radhika Apte will be seen as the female lead in the movie, which will also be featuring Dhansikaa, Kalaiarasan, Prakash Raj and Gajaraj in supporting roles. The film’s unit has already started erecting sets for the first schedule, which will go on floors in Chennai on September 17. We all will have to wait for an official announcement from the team to get a clearer picture regarding the role of the superstar.
