Rajinikanth Rejected Drishyam Remake, Didn’t Like two scenes

Reportedly, Rajinikanth rejected to be a part of Tamil remake of Drishyam because he thought that two scenes of the film will not go well with his fans. As per the reports, Rajinikanth was the first choice of director Jeethu Joseph. But after he rejected the film, Kamal Hassan has been roped in.

A source told IANS, “Rajinikanth sir really liked the story when he heard it. Jeethu felt he could add a different dimension to the film with his presence. But Rajini sir had issues with two scene”.

The source added, “The first scene is when the lead characters get brutally beaten up by the police. And, the second scene is the climax sequence. Rajini sir was unsure if his fans will like seeing him getting beaten up. Jeethu too felt the same when it was discussed with him”. Later, Jeethu promised to do another film with Rajinikanth.
