Rajinikanth’s better half Latha Rangachari croons for Kochadaiiyaan number

It has been known for a while that Tamil superstar Rajinikanth has sung a song in his next most awaited film, Kochadaiiyaan. Now, more interestingly it has been reported that, his wife Latha Rangachari has also lent her voice for a number in the film. The song is titled as Manappenin Sathiyam.

The director of the film, Rajini’s daughter Soundarya R. Ashwin, said, "My mother is a very talented singer, and this song has come out great. Without any practise, she's done an amazing job. Singing is her passion and I hope she does it more often. The lyrics are very emotional and I can't wait for people to hear it. It was a challenge for her, for sure, as she has sung this song in Telugu too." Latha has done playback singing earlier too in films like Tik Tik Tik and Anbulla Rajinikanth. She also added that her father loved this particular song too.
