    Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’ was one of the much awaited films of the season. The film hit the theatre screens yesterday and it has stormed the box offices. The first day shows witnessed full packed theatres and many were left in hunt for the movie tickets.

    Reports suggest that the Pa. Ranjith directorial has created a new box office record in four countries. The flick was premiered in countries like U.S., U.A.E., UK and France, and it has created a new record at all the four nations. It managed to gross $2 Million from its premiere shows in the U.S., beating the record of ‘Baahubali’, which collected $1.39 Million.

    In U.K. gangster drama flick collected £93,835 from its premiere shows, a record collection for any Tamil film. In France it collected 41,280€, while in UAE it has crossed the $1 million mark. The film is expected to collect over Rs. 120 crore in its first weekend. The Kabali mania has swept the whole nation.
