    Rajinikanth’s forthcoming venture ‘Kabali’ has garnered lot of attention in the recent past. It’s first look posters vent viral on the social media and got thumbs up from the audiences. Also, it will have villains Winston Chao and Rosyam Nor playing antagonists.

    The film has created a huge record in the U.S. even before its release. According to reports, the Pa. Ranjith directorial has done a business of Rs. 8 crore before its release. The record for the biggest price paid for a Tamil film was Rs. 2.5 crore, but the Lingaa actor has bettered the record.

    The producer of the crime film, Kalaipuli S. Thanu revealed, "I am producing Kabali now. In what is a first in the history of the film industry, the film has done a business of Rs. 8 crore in just the US. Even if there is an Income Tax raid on account of this information being shared, I don't mind. But that is the truth".   The shooting for the flick will resume from January 31 and will soon be wrapped up for a May release.
