    Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’ To Release In May

    Speculations were that Rajinikanth’s forthcoming film ‘Kabali’ might be pushed back to May. The makers planned to release the film on April 14 but Vijay’s ‘Theri’ will also be releasing on the same date. Both the films are being bankrolled by Kalaipuli S. Thanu and hgence it was being said that the Rajinikanth starrer will be released after state assembly elections in May.

    According to reports, the Pa. Ranjith directorial will hit the screens either on May 6 or May 13. The film is in its final stages and the team will wrap up the crime-film by February 28. The final leg of the flick featuring Radhika Apte will be shot in Malaysia.

     Reportedly, the trailer of the film will be released on April 14 on Tamil New Year. A source close to the film’s unit revealed “Rajinikanth will resume shooting Shankar’s magnum opus 2.0, which is currently progressing at a brisk pace in Boat Club, Chennai, after the final schedule of Kabali. He will start the dubbing work for Kabali in March once the post production phase kickstarts. The first look trailer of Kabali will be revealed on April 14th, 2016 to mark the occasion of Tamil New Year”.
