Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’ Grosses Rs. 350 Crore In Just Three Days

Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’ might have got a mixed response from the audiences as well as from the critics, but that has not stopped the film from making money at the box office. The producer of the film Kalaipuli S. Thanu recently said that it has become the biggest Indian opener of all time. The film grossed over Rs. 100 crore on its opening day and shattered records worldwide. It has now reached another milestone.

Now reports suggest that the Pa. Ranjith directorial has crossed the Rs. 350 crore mark and has entered the Rs. 350 crore club in just three days. The makers of the gangster-drama film confirmed the news and said, "In India, the film has earned Rs 250 crore, which includes Rs 100 crore from Tamil Nadu and Rs 150 crore from places outside the state in India". They added that it has managed to collect Rs. 100 crore approximately overseas.

‘Kabali’ has defeated the blockbuster movies of the big stars of Bollywood in terms of collection. Rajinikanth has shown that he still has the potential of ruling the box office. But a section of his fans think that his fall has begun, as the content of his films is not impressive now.
