Rakul Preet Singh Roped In For Thani Oruvan Remake

Reports have stated that actress Rakul Preet Singh has been roped in for the Telugu remake of Thani Oruvan. It was previously confirmed that Ram Charan will be playing the male lead in the film which originally starred Jayam Ravi and Nayantara. Rakul herself confirmed the news recently.

The actress stated, “I'm doing the film, although am yet to officially sign on the dotted line. The shooting will commence soon, and I will join the crew by March or April”. Talking about playing Nayantara’s character, Rakul shared, “Nayan is a classy actress. I will be very happy if I can match her in portraying the mature and bold character that she pulled off in the Tamil version”.

Rakul will be paired alongside Ram Charan for the second time after Bruce Lee. Surender Reddy will direct the Telugu remake of the film which was originally directed by Mohan Raja. After the average outcome of Bruce Lee, the audience will be expecting something great from the duo.
