Rakul Became A Tour Guide In Ukraine

Rakul Preet Singh is currently shooting in Ukraine for Karthi’s Dev movie. The film is directed by debutant Rajath Ravishankar and Rakul took on a rather interesting role — that of a tour guide. And now the actress took her parents, who had come visiting on the set, and the film’s team, for some sightseeing in Ukraine.

Rakul says, “My mom was with me in London, and from there, she joined me in Ukraine. But it was a surprise when dad also dropped by for five days. I spent some much-needed time with them and was getting pampered all the time. This was my second shoot in Kiev — I’d already shot for a Telugu film before. So, I was like the pro who knew the place in and out. The local cuisine is amazing, and the place is very calm and quiet. The sun sets at about 10 pm, so we could shoot for a longer duration as well”.

Rakul has returned to the country a couple of weeks ago, and after briefly shooting for Suriya's NGK in the city, has taken off to Kulu for one of her Bollywood films. Moreover, Rakul Preet Singh is also all set to play late superstar Sridevi onscreen in the upcoming biopic of Telugu cinema icon and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N T Rama Rao. The biopic, directed by Krish boasts of a huge star cast- including Vidya Balan as NTR's wife Basavatarakam and Rana Daggubati as AP chief minister Chandrababu Naidu.
