Rambha becomes proud mother, blessed with baby girl

Popular actress Rambha, who has appeared in almost 100 South Indian films, has become a proud mother once again. The yesteryear diva has been blessed with a girl at a hospital in Toronto. The actress already has a 4-year-old daughter named Laanya.

The 39-year-old actress has welcomed another daughter, her second child with hubby Indran Pathmanathan, a Canada-based business tycoon. Rambha tied the knot with Pathmanathan, the founder and chairman of Magick Woods, in April 2010. They got hitched in Tirumala and have been living in Canada since then.

Rambha made her debut in Kollywood with Uzhavan and was last seen in Pen Singam. Directed by Bali Srirangam and produced by S.P. Murugesan, the film hit the screens in June 2010. Based on M. Karunanidhi's novel Surulimalai, the movie also received a National Award.

The last film she shot for happens to be a yet-to-be-released thriller, titled Vidiyum Varai Kathiru. Being produced under the Parijay Creations banner, the film is touted as her best performance ever.
