Ravi K. Chandran to remake Point Black in Tamil

Filmmaker Ravi K. Chandran, who is all set to make his directorial debut with Yaan, wants to remake Point Blank in Tamil. Point Blank is a French action-thriller directed by Fred Cavaye. The movie starred Gilles Lellouche, Roschdy Zem, Gerard Lanvin, and Elena Anaya in the lead roles.

Apart from Tamil, Ravi K. Chandran would also work on Hindi remake of the film. Sunir Kheterpal, who bought the remake rights of Point Blank, says, "It's an interesting action thriller and a universal story . Ravi K. Chandran will be directing both the versions. We are currently developing two different adaptations for Hindi and Tamil. The cast will be finalized by the end of this month. We are yet to decide on whether both the versions will happen simultaneously or whether one will follow the other."

Well, it seems that Ravi K. Chandran who is trying his hand in directing with Yaan has finalized his next project as well. Ravi Chandran’s Yaan would feature Jiiva and Thulasi Nair in the lead roles. The film is expected to hit theatres in August.
