    Reason Behind Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Exit From ‘2.0’

    The film was supposed to launch on December 12 on the birthday of the superstar. But due to the problems caused by the Chennai floods, the Lingaa actor requested to postpone the shoot. But on December 16, the shoot began and the first day was attended by the producers, music composer and A.R. Rahman and other crew members.

    Reports suggest that Akshay Kumar will be playing the antagonist in the flick. Earlier, Arnold Schwarzenegger was linked with the role but he was later replaced by the Bollywood actor. The reason behind the exit of the Hollywood star from the Shankar directorial was not known, but the producers of the film have revealed the reason.

    Raju Mahalingam, the Creative Head of Lyca Productions, shared why things did not work out. He posted, "Contractual contradictions !!! " Real challenge to build the BRIDGE between Indian Cinema and Hollywood" we will miss our Terminator !!! Appreciate all your support Mr Patrick Schwarzenegger!!". 

    Reportedly, the shoot of the film took place at a huge set erected, resembling a science laboratory, in the outskirts of Chennai. The first shot involved the lab in which modern equipments and dwarves could be seen. The dwarves will be playing the lab assistant to Dr. Vaseegaran.
