Release Date Of Sasikumar’s 'Tharai Thappattai' Revealed

Sasikumar is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film titled 'Tharai Thappattai', with national award-winning director Bala. The film is in its post-production stages and the director has also written and bankrolled the film under his home production banner B Studios. We have exciting news for the people who are eagerly waiting for the film.

According to the reports, Ayngaran International, a major film production and distribution firm, has revealed the release information of the flick on Twitter. The Bala directorial will hit the theatre screens around Pongal 2016. The movie went on floors early last year, but was delayed because of an injury sustained by Sasikumar.

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar will be seen romancing the Bramman actor in the film. Reports suggest that the actress dislocated her shoulder while shooting for the film. She will be playing the role of a Karagattam dancer in the flick and had to go under a three month training for perfecting her steps. Illayaraja has composed the music for the film and it is also his 1000^th project.
