RGV Takes A Dig At Rajinikanth

Controversial director Ram Gopal Verma has taken on his Twitter handle to express his disappointment on actors who have donated ‘very little’ money. He wrote on his micro-blogging website, “Ayyababooi super star lu 10 lakshalu 5 lakshalu bichamisthe antha dabbu em chesulovalo theliyaka chennaiprajalu moorchapotharu. Ivvakapivadam btt." It was not hard to identify who he was referring to, as it was Rajinikanth and his son-in-law Dhanush who donated the 10L and 5L rupees respectively. 

He further went on said, "As per me I never donated one rupee and am supremely selfish unlike celebs who give quintals of prayers and tonnes of love."  The director didn’t shy away from taking Rajinikanth’s name and took a jibe by saying, "I wonder why Rajnikant dint do anything to stop the rain?" The megastar Rajinikanth is currently working on his much anticipated movie Kabali which also stars Radhika Apte, Attakathi Dinesh, Kalaiyarasan, Dhansika and Riythvik.

Several stars from all over the industry have come and denoted generously for Chennai flood. Stars such as Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu Jr NTR, Kalyan Ram, Ravi Teja, Sundeep Kishan, Sai Dharam Tej, Varun Tej, Sampoornesh Babu Etc. have made monetary and other contributions. All stars have asked Chennai people to stay calm and strong in this very testing times.
