Ritika Singh To Play Female Lead In ‘Thala 57’?

Ritika Singh amazed the critics as well as the audiences with a smashing performance in her debut film ‘Irudhi Suttru’ alongside R. Madhavan. After winning accolades for her performance in the film, the actress teamed up with Vijay Sethupathi for her next. Now reports suggest that she has bagged a major project.

Sources from the industry claim that Ritika has been approached to play the one of the leads in Ajith’s next with director Siva. Reportedly, there will be two heroines in the flick, tentatively titled as Thala 57’, and the newbie actress might be seen playing one of them. However, there is no confirmation from the makers regarding this.

According to reports, when Ritika was contacted by a leading daily, she preferred to stay tight lipped about it. She said, "I can't talk anything about it now". Speculations are rife that the makers are keen to rope in Santhanam for a crucial role in the film. Hopefully, soon an official announcement will be made regarding the rest of the cast and the crew.
