Ritwika Joins ‘Kabali’ Sets

Director Pa. Ranjith has been carrying forward the cast and crew of his last film ‘Madras’, which was critical acclaimed and was also liked by the audiences, to his next ‘Kabali’.  He first brought Kalaiayrasan, then music director Santosh Narayanan joined the venture and he was followed by cinematographer G.Murali. The latest person to join the Rajinikanth starrer is Ritwika.

According to reports, Ritwika, who played the role of Mary in ‘Madras’, has been roped in by the director to play a pivotal role in his next. She has already started shooting for the flick which went on floors recently in Chennai. Rumour mills are churning that the actress impressed superstar Rajinikanth with her acting skills and was praised by him.

The shooting of the film began in East Coast Road and the schedule for the location is 20 days long. After completing the first schedule the team will head to Malaysia, Hong Kong and Thailand to film the future schedules. The film is being bankrolled by S. Thanu and will feature Radhika Apte in the lead.
