RJ Balaji To Star With Mahesh Babu In A.R. Murugadoss’ Next

Actor-comedian RJ Balaji has been roped in to play a pivotal role in Mahesh Babu's upcoming, which will be helmed by A.R. Murugadoss. The yet-to-be titled bilingual movie will be made in Tamil and Telugu languages. The flick is touted to be an action entertainer, for which Harris Jayaraj will be composing the background score.

A source from the film's unit told IANS, "Balaji will play Mahesh's friend. He wouldn't be seen as a regular comedian and has more to do than just evoke laughter. It's an interesting character and helps the hero in many situations”.

The Naanum Rowdy Dhaan actor shared his delight on Twitter. The actor tweeted, “Happy to b a part of AR Murugadoss- Mahesh Babu film ..! ?”. Balaji was also quoted as saying, "The film is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. I have always wanted to work with good directors, and Murugadoss is one among them”. Balaji is expected to start the shooting next week.

The movie also stars Rakul Preet Singh and S.J. Surya. The flick is tipped to being made on a budget of Rs. 90 crore.
