RK Suresh Planning Tamil Remake Of Tollywood Flick Napoleon

Though Tollywood movie Napoleon received decent reviews, the movie was a reasonable hit. The film which starred Anand Ravi, Ravi Varma and Komali hit the theatres on November 24, 2017. Apart from acting, Anand Ravi also directed the flick.

And now we have heard that actor-turned-producer RK Suresh, who earlier produced Vijay Sethupathi ’s Dharmadurai, has acquired the Tamil remake rights of this action thriller. He will produce the flick under his home banner Studio 9 Productions. Suresh said that although many offers to produce films came his way, but he was looking for the right script as good content matters to him.

Apart from producing, Suresh will essay the lead role in the flick. He has also cast actor Samuthirakani for a crucial role in the Tamil version. Speculations are rife that Suresh has also approached a Bollywood actor for an important role, however the name has not revealed yet.

“I watched the original film after a friend of mine suggested. The script was impressive and I also liked the making style. I thought it was apt for the Tamil remake,” said Suresh. Rumours are doing rounds that he might cast actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as the female lead. Both Suresh and Varalaxmi have earlier worked together in Bala ’s Thaarai Thappattai.
