Rohini Roped In To Play Shiva’s Mother?

Rohini has around 130 South Indian films to her credit. Moreover, she currently is involved in three projects. On top of it, the 46-year-old actress has been offered a new flick. She has been approached to play actor Shiva’s mother in Mohan Raja’s upcoming film.

She divulges her role in this forthcoming movie. She says, “I play Sivakarthikeyan’s mother in this film and I will be joining the sets from November 14. At present, I won’t be able to reveal anything more about my character.” The film has yet-not-been named, but, interestingly, will star veteran Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil.

Moreover, Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara will play the lead roles along with Sneha, RJ Balaji, Sathish, Prakash Raj and Thambi Ramaiah in supporting roles. As per sources, the film will start rolling from November 11. The film is touted to be filmed in the locales of Malaysia, Mumbai and Pune. R. D. Raja of 24AM Studios will bankroll this project.
