Romeo and Juliet to have happy ending

Filmmaker Lakshman is all pumped up to go behind the camera for his next, Romeo and Juliet. The new screen version of the epic love story will not have a sad or tragic ending as stated by the maker. Lakshman said, “There will be nothing cinematic about this film; the characteristics, incidents and the plot will be very real. And yes, there will be a happy ending.”

Jayam Ravi and Hansika Motwani will be playing the lead couple in the entertainer. The director said that he never had second thoughts about the two before signing them. He quoted, “When I wrote this script, I knew only Ravi would be able to pull off this character. And, I believe that Hansika has the capability to play any kind of role, and with this one, she will score with the audience.”
