Saalai To Offer A Unique Ride To Its Audience

Giving a critically acclaimed hit with Azhagu Kutty Chellam, director Charles is at it again. The talented filmmaker is ready with Saalai, which is a road movie and a psychological thriller. It has Vishwa from Manasukkul Eppadi Vandhai and Krisha as the lead pair.

Walking us through the 45 days of shooting in the snowy terrain, Charles said, “It was really adventurous and also at times scary while shooting in Kashmir. There’s no separate airport for public in Kashmir. The only one, which is functioning, is meant for the Military Force. Even as we got down from the aircraft, the security men tell us that we can’t take pictures or videos at the airport. Every 10 feet, we saw an army personnel with loaded guns.”

He added that the script demanded a place similar to Kashmir and thus they went with it. Though, the weather was spine-chilling cold, the main concern of the makers was to keep the camera safe. Charles seemed fairly satisfied and is confident that it will be acknowledged by the audiences.
