‘Saamy 2’ To Release In Summer Next Year

Actor Chiyaan Vikram is a busy man this year. The actor is currently shooting for director Vijay Chander’s Sketch after which he will begin shooting for ‘Dhruva Natchathiram' which is directed by Gautham Menon. Soon after he finishes shooting these two movies, he will start filming for 'Saamy 2'.

‘Saamy 2’ is the sequel to 2003 blockbuster ‘Saamy’ which was directed by Hari. ‘Saamy 2’ was announced on the date when the audio of Vikram’s previous release 'Iru Mugan' was released in 2016. The sequel will be produced by Shibu Thameens who also produced 'Iru Mugan'.

Now the makers have announced that the film will start rolling in July 2017. A source also tells that the film is expected to release in summer 2018. Trisha and Keerthy Suresh have been roped in to play the female leads. We hope that just like the prequel, the sequel also does wonder at the box office.
